Hi zzfred!
Welcome to jammr .

Besides inviting your friends and bandmates to sign up and play over the internet, you can also post in the “Jam sessions” sub-forum to announce a public jam session for other people to join. That way you can schedule a time and let other people know to join you.

Or join the official weekly jam session at 19:00 UTC on Saturdays. There are always people online to jam with during the weekly jam.

Looking forward to jamming with you soon!

Stefan

Welcome to jammr beta!

Hi.

I'm Ditch Diggerson of RPNA a Canadian punk band once known as Joe College and The Rulers.

We're a Band O' (older) Bros. and a kid. We're looking for a way to bridge a 120 kilometer gap between band mates. I drum and have a Roland TD30 drum kit which I will try to hook up for these jams. I also play, lead and rhythm guitar, a little bass. I sing and play blues harps too. I can see how I would get a lot from your software. I have M-Audio MTrack 2x2. I've got mics, a dynamic mic, a mixer and I can properly record an acoustic drum kit. Lots of opportunity. I've been playing a very long time and I have been attempting to record my own stuff where I play every instrument.

No problem with any globe location with this app. Just make all band members individual accounts on this site and learn a bit about settings (quite easy). You will find a button for private jam sessions with band mates. You can also join public jams. They are very funny too.

I like ukulele, recorder, guitar, drum, piano (absolute beginner)

Welcome to jammr beta!

Hi Stefanha!

I am super new here and would love to know how this works. I tried connecting to my friend's jam, but all I hear is a very long beep… So, are there any tutorials to walk me through this great app??

Thanking you in advance!

Hi Silvia,
If you hear feedback (a high-pitched tone) it's probably because the microphone is picking up the sound from speakers. Please use headphones when using a microphone.

Hopefully you'll be able to hear other people and jam successfully once the feedback is gone .
