Home of the jammr Community
Hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone is interested in collecting a few songs that can be played well in jammr.
Here you may have to adjust the BPI and BPM so that it is possible to play several parts (e.g. verses - chorus)
Depending on the complexity of the song, the effort is higher … or not.
I'll start with a few songs that I think could work (theoretically) well.
Wicked Games - Chris Isaak
BPM 112/ BPI 16
Bm A E E
Nobody knows you when you're down and out - Eric Clapton
BPM 90 / BPI 32
Drumloop: 90bpm - 8 or 16 bars - 4/4 swing
C E7 A A7
Dm A7 Dm Dm
F D7/F# C A7
D7 D7 G7 G7

I shot the Sheriff - Eric Clapton / Bob Marley
BPM 47/ BPI 43
Drumloop: 94bpm - 21,5 bars - 4/4 straight
drums need to be 94bpm - Because of the length, it is necessary to lower the BPM in jammr. Otherwise the BPI should be 82. But the limit is 64. And that's very high - you would have to wait forever until for the next Interval (a “new round” begins) …
Gm Cm Gm Gm (2x)
Eb Dm Gm Gm (5x)
+ riff

A|——–5–3–1–5–3–1——-|
E|—————————-/3—–|

This is great, man!
I like the idea of doing a couple of standards like these, instead of the one- or two-chord jams that go on forever.
Well done on posting the chords and tabs, too.
Hit me up if you need a bass player…
