Hi saviokb66,
Error 499 is a temporary problem that will go away in the coming days.
There is currently extremely high demand for online jamming and I am working on increasing jammr's capacity as fast as I can. In the meantime this error might appear occassionally. I recommend joining public jam sessions in the Connect dialog instead of creating new private jams.

Hi RDEPROS,
Please ask your friends to install jammr on their computers (https://jammr.net/download.html) and create an account just like you did.
Launch jammr and join one of the jam sessions that appears in the “Connect to server…” dialog. When your friends launch jammr or open the “Connect to server…” dialog they will see your name in the list of jams and they can join too.
Happy jamming!

how to i connect Kontact on jammr, mac os?

Hi federico,
jammr supports VST and AudioUnit plugins on Mac. Go to jammr | Preferences | Effect Plugins where you can load plugins like Kontakt. Click “Scan” to detect plugins on your system (you can also add folders where to scan for VST plugins). Kontakt should appear in the list and then you can add it.
It will also be necessary to configure MIDI input so you can control Kontakt. Please go to jammr | Preferences | MIDI to select the MIDI device.
Hope that helps!

Hi there. I am running an Allen & Heath ZED 12fx mixer with a usb connection to my MacBook Air.
Couple of Newbie questions:
I am monitoring the Jammr through my headphones on the MacBook and thinking of delivering my music through the Allen & Heath by way of the USB. Does that sound right?
When I choose and connect to an ongoing session, I see the names of participants, but I do not see my name. Is there something else I need to do?
Is there some way of testing out my sound to see/hear if it's actually coming through? I haven't heard anything of mine yet.
Thanks for your help.
Jarney Bones.

So I'm in the middle of trying to Jam with 2 friends. We can only hear one of the participants. All three people could hear our bass player. Both the other players have verified that our Mac Laptops are indeed receiving our sound, because we can independently record ourselves; however we can't hear ourselves or each other through Jammr. We've tried switching computer output to headphones from USB but it makes no difference. Any guidance?
Thanks
Jarney Bones
