Hello,

My friends and I just downloaded Jammr and for some reason one of my friends keeps getting kicked off the server. He has a strong internet connection. Is there something we are doing wrong?

Hey jongrill welcome! We recently had server problems causing disconnects due to the corona user surge. It should all run smoothly now, let us know if you still have problems

I have checked the server logs to see if there were any specific issues with your connections. There were no specific problems in the logs, but if you continue to experience this now that we've added new servers that should handle the large number of jams better, please let me know.

jammr is up and 7 users are jamming right now.

Did you get an error message when trying to connect to a jam?

Hi! I'm new to all this. A friend and I were trying to create a private jam, but I was having issues getting my microphone on my computer to work. The biggest issue that we ended up with, though, was that I continually got bumped off, with the messages:
Error: invalid authorization reply
Disconnected

The log book looked as follows (with repetitive attempts - one successful, the rest quickly bumping me off):

I am investigating this issue. The “invalid authorization reply” error should never happen. I'll update this forum post once there is a fix. Thanks for your patience!

I've found the issue that causes the “invalid authorization reply” error and am working on a fix. More info soon.

A fix has been rolled out. You should no longer get the “invalid authorization reply” error.
