I WASN'T but I wandered into an electronic jam today and it was AWESOME fun! Let me start figuring things out and mayeb I'll run int you one day soon.

I'll second that. I'm goofing around now with some synths and things just to figure out how to get different sounds. I've got the music background - just need my knowledge on synths and tools to catch up!

I had one going yesterday. I think it went well?

The MIDI clock output is not stable enough to use to drive your gear though, so I was fortunate enough to be the first one in the room, so set the pace/tone with some arpeggiators and a drum machine. Still, good enough for some guitar and bass players that wandered in.

Yeah the midi sync seems really hit and miss. Sometimes it is rock solid and others it drifts way off. Not sure if just my setup though. But glad to hear others are having issues.

I'm going to dig into it tonight, do a MIDI capture with MidiOX and see if it's on my end, try it on different machines, etc.

If you see a room up with my name in it, you'll know that it's just a MIDI clock test room.

If you want an assist I'm laid out with back issues and that keeps me from strapping on instruments… but I COULD try to computer jockey and see if we can do some MIDI magic.
