Free users can now join private jams!

Premium users can now allow free users to join private jam sessions!
Previously it was only possible to have private jams with other Premium users.

If your private jam session is open to all users or you explicitly allow your
free user friends to join, they will see the jam session in the “Connect to
server…” dialog and be able to join you.

There is a tutorial on Premium users can create private jams here:
https://forum.jammr.net/topic/1941/

Happy jamming!

Stefan - I really appreciate you listening to our feedback. Jammr is a really cool idea, I'm going to sign up for premium to support further development and to say thanks.

Right on. I did this morning; we should do some testing together in a private room.

Notes on the MIDI Beat Clock: I'm seeing a standard deviation of ~25% monitoring via my Mio Out to a MidiGAL running the MidiClock Tester firmware.

I'm going to be experimenting with an audio to 5V pulse box I bought off of Tindie to see how accurate the metronome stream is from the room. If possible down the road, it would be nice if the room's metronome had a separate fader or supported a different output channel so that we could crank it up a bit and/or use it for a pulse/clock conversion.

Thanks for the support!

captaincancel: Thanks for the suggestion. Volume leveling will be improved. It's very important to be able to bring up the metronome. Today, if you want a good mix you need to get everyone to reduce their input volume slightly below the metronome volume - and in the heat of battle that's not always possible .
