Just introducing myself as I have just joined. 55 yo looking to connect with people to learn and have fun. Been playing bass for a few years now. Never in a band but have jammed about a dozen times. Mostly, I load up accompaniments in Sony Acid and come up with basslines. I play rock, funk, and RnB grooves (classic rock, hard/RATM, improvised funk and RnB). Some blues and this is something I need to work on. Terrible at 12 bar…I tend to lose track of the bars/chord changes. Because it is so repetitive, I tend to lose interest, hence the reason I have yet to nail it down.
