jammr 1.2.3 released

jammr 1.2.3 is now available!

This update opens sound devices in stereo mode so both left and right channels have audio. If you had to put your recording interface into mono mode or only got sound from the left speaker, this update will solve the issue.

Thanks for all the feedback and testing!

Changes:
* Open sound devices in stereo where possible
* Fix portmidi crash on older Macs due to unsupported CPU instructions
* Update Linux package dependencies for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

jammr 1.2.3 released

Hello stefanha,

I'm having trouble connecting to rooms. I've got jammr installed on both my Windows 7 machine and my laptop running Ubuntu. Any advice on how to handle this issue?

Thanks!

Hi Stanley,
Can you describe the problem or post screenshots?

You might also find a detailed error message under “Help | Show log…”. Please paste the log.

Stefan

It looks like I happened upon the source of my problem this weekend. My neighbor and I reduce internet costs by ‘sharing’ service. Since the service is under his name, I connect via his router. I connected to a different network this weekend, and I tested out Jammr on a hunch and had no trouble connecting to any of the rooms. Must be a closed port issue? Is there a list of required open ports somewhere?

jammr does not open listen ports.

The outgoing TCP ports it uses are 80 and 10100-10200.

Thanks, Stefan.

I'll have to check my neighbor's router configuration and get back to you. I'll post any updates.
