Here are my thoughts:
I tried out Tonocracy and liked both the modeled amps and the ToneSnaps. It's amazing how far amp sims have come over the years and this is now what you get for free.
I like that Tonocracy's free product covers the bases in terms of amp choice. It has the Marshall sound in spades.
The built in cabs look like they are from well-known IR creators and I spent some time trying out the different 4x12 Marshall cabs. They are very usable.
The first time I started it up the input volume was boosted by +18 dB and was noisy. Lowering the input volume fixed that.
The user interface feels like there is room for improvement (ha, coming from me!). I had to click around a few times to figure out how things worked.
For someone with a guitar and a USB sound card, this plugin could be enough! Thank you for sharing.
