If you wish to run an old version of jammr then you may not want to see the
update notification dialog each time you launch the application. You can
disable jammr's update notifications by following these steps.
Please make sure to type commands exactly as written, including the upper- and
lower-case characters. The easiest way is to copy-paste the commands so that
you don't need to type them manually.
On Windows
1. Press Windows+R to open the “Run” dialog, type “cmd”, and press Enter.
2. Type “reg add HKCU\Software\jammr\jammr\jammr /v updateUrl” and press Enter.
You can re-enable update notifications by typing “reg delete
HKCU\Software\jammr\jammr\jammr /f /v updateUrl” instead.
On Mac
1. Press F4, type “Terminal”, and press Return.
2. Type “defaults write -app jammr jammr.updateUrl ''” and press Return.
You can re-enable update notifications by typing “defaults delete -app jammr
jammr.updateUrl” instead.
On Linux
1. Open a terminal.
2. Type "echo -e '\nupdateUrl=' >>~/.config/jammr/jammr.conf“ and press Enter.
You can re-enable update notifications by typing ”sed -i ‘/^updateUrl=/d’
~/.config/jammr/jammr.conf" instead.
