I'll admit it, this parrot sings Stairway to Heaven better than me:

News » jammr 1.3.0 on Windows is now signed » Jan. 29, 2021 17:06:13

Previous releases of jammr, including 1.3.0, were not signed with a code signing certificate.

The jammr 1.3.0 installer for Windows has now been signed. Future Windows installers will be signed by “JAMMR LTD” so you can be sure the software has not been modified (e.g. infected with a virus).

There is no need to re-install jammr if you already have 1.3.0 installed. If you have a previously-downloaded jammr 1.3.0 installer for Windows you may notice that a newly downloaded Jammr-installer.exe file is now different. This is expected because code signing affects the contents of the exe file.

Hi, I hope this is not a duplicate thread that I am starting..
So I have the midi clock on jammr syncing with my sh01a for sequences and arpeggios etc (which works really well)
In an ideal world I would have an outboard drum machine going too to keep us all in time (will get one again soon, I sold them all years ago…)
So I tried using Logic on a mac for drum loops, but for reasons best known to apple they won't allow it to slave to midi clock. (wouldn't have been a problem on an atari ST running cubase 3.1!)

I guess I am am trying to find a *free* drum machine VST to run (and sync) in jammr on a mac(?) as a temporary workaround.
I have tried hydrogen as a standalone but not really sure how the internal clock would be synced to jammr. Do I need jack or some such routing mechanism?
Any suggestions would be welcome, please can someone tell me what am I missing?

Thanks for your time.

Hi, I'm new here

Anyone up for a jam session tomorrow?

31 dec 2020 @ 18:00 UCT

some melodic rock/hardcore/blues

just stick on a drumtrack and jam

I have a few backtracks of my own as well, if anyone wants to jam along to that.

I'd love for a vox to join as well.

All musicians welcome. ie. drums, bass, rythm, lead

A small fix has been released for Mac. The jammr 1.3.0 release did not request microphone permission when freshly installed on macOS. This meant that new users were unable to hear themselves. Thanks to petenash for reporting this bug!

Mac users will be prompted to update to jammr 1.3.1. Windows and Linux users do not need to update and are still on jammr 1.3.0. There are no other changes in this release.
