If you wish to run an old version of jammr then you may not want to see the
update notification dialog each time you launch the application. You can
disable jammr's update notifications by following these steps.

Please make sure to type commands exactly as written, including the upper- and
lower-case characters. The easiest way is to copy-paste the commands so that
you don't need to type them manually.

On Windows
1. Press Windows+R to open the “Run” dialog, type “cmd”, and press Enter.
2. Type “reg add HKCU\Software\jammr\jammr\jammr /v updateUrl” and press Enter.

You can re-enable update notifications by typing “reg delete
HKCU\Software\jammr\jammr\jammr /f /v updateUrl” instead.

On Mac
1. Press F4, type “Terminal”, and press Return.
2. Type “defaults write -app jammr jammr.updateUrl ''” and press Return.

You can re-enable update notifications by typing “defaults delete -app jammr
jammr.updateUrl” instead.

On Linux
1. Open a terminal.
2. Type "echo -e '\nupdateUrl=' >>~/.config/jammr/jammr.conf“ and press Enter.

You can re-enable update notifications by typing ”sed -i ‘/^updateUrl=/d’
~/.config/jammr/jammr.conf" instead.

There was an outage today (October 14th) after the SSL certificate used for encrypting connections to jammr wasn't reloaded automatically. The website and jammr client were unable to connect because the SSL certificate had expired.

The new certificate was already there but the process to reload it hadn't worked. I'm now checking the reload process to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future.

Sorry for the inconvenience if you were affected!

Suggest adding the text ‘(Edit Profile)’ next to “Hi !” in the upper right of the Web UI, since that's the hidden way to access the Jammr Profile now. Or maybe add ‘Profile’ next to ‘Forum’?

Intervallic Instrumentals seem to be feel natural, and do not seem to pose much of a ‘mind-bend’, however multi-part vocal harmonies over verses will be difficult to achieve without a strategy and an understanding of the way delayed intervals work.
The 3 big colors represent 3 Singers, with their corresponding little colored circles representing Verses/Chorus that they will sing or hear in the Intervals 1-9.
The 3 sections represent each individual Singer's strategy.
The Primary Singer establishes the pattern, by singing a Verse/chorus, which on the next iteration of the interval, the others hear and sing along. In this second iteration the Primary singer is silent or plays Instrumental. On the next interval, The Primary will hear the others parts and can sing the same verse/chorus adding to the other singers' vocals. This is where the Primary singer experiences > 2 part Harmony possibilities.
Vocalists may appreciate the ability to simulate singing Multi-Part Harmony in traditional songs.
