The tempo (BPM) and interval length (BPI) in a jam session can be changed by voting. Voting prevents accidental or malicious changes that disturb the jam for other users. Up until now a vote has required at least 50% of users to participate.
In larger jams with 6 or more users it is often difficult to reach the 50% threshold because some users may not be looking at their screen.
The voting threshold has now been changed so that it's easier to change the BPM/BPI while still protecting against disruptions. Now only one other user needs to second the vote.
I hope you find this helpful. Please let me know if you have feedback on the voting system.
Happy jamming!
