It would be a lot easier to keep track of where you are if every downbeat was a different color than the other 3 beats.

It would be great if you could set the time signature of your chord progression so that you could have one downbeat color followed by two beats if you want to play in 3/4.

Even simply alternating colors would be an improvement.

Thanks for the suggestion, adam_658! Accenting the first beat of each bar would help. It requires adding the time signature, as you've said. I've added this to the todo list.
