Jam With Jammr and Ableton Live

I would like to Jam with two others who also generate sounds on their laptops. Two of us use Ableton live and one uses Machine. Do you have any suggestions on how we would route audio from Ableton live to Jammr?

Jam With Jammr and Ableton Live

Going to need a Second pc to capture the sound for this as ableton works as the synths brain and cant cope
with captureing the audio and transmitting it through jammer

Jam With Jammr and Ableton Live

Hi ssiess,
You can use audio routing software to send/receive audio between jammr and other applications.

On Mac OS and Linux, use JACK. On Mac the program to use is called jackpilot. When you start a JACK session it creates a virtual sound card which you can tell Ableton and jammr to use (in their sound settings dialogs). Then you edit the routing in jackpilot so that audio output from Ableton goes to the audio input from jammr.

On Windows there are a few different “virtual audio cable” programs like Virtual Audio Cable.

Check YouTube for tutorials if you need help with JACK or Virtual Audio Cable.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Jam With Jammr and Ableton Live

Ok so i have been trying pretty much the same thing as i also have ableton so far i hav managed to channel the sound from ableton to jammr but am not able to have both guitar and ableton running i do belive this maybe because i need to purchase extra virtual cables

anyway the package i used and got it working with was called
Voicemeeter

the good thing about this Voicemeeter & VB Cable is that its donationware so you pay as much of as little for the
extra cables

Hope this helps

hey there, I'm running into issues myself, could you write up few basic steps? My friend is trying to get his keyboard to work with Ableton and Jammr with Voicemeeter.
