Need help setting up my Focusrite Scarlette Solo

Hey guys!

I have a Focusrite scarlette solo and i'm trying to set it up on Jammr.

I'm not too sure on which Audio system to use, and what latency and Sample Rate. Whichever one i choose, i get a horrible robotic buzz. I've been using Ableton to jam along and i use ASIO on that, but i see there isn't this option on Jammr.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi, the horrible robotic buzz is probably that your P.C main output sound is being looped back into your input device… This might help from the manual but I'm not sure:

“When Direct Monitoring is ON, ensure that your recording software is not set to route its input (what
you are currently recording) to its output. If it is, you will hear yourself “twice”, with one signal
audibly delayed as an echo.”

Thanks for your reply!

The buzz isn't a delay or an echo, i only hear a really horrible buzz, like it's VERY low sample rate

Usually 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz sample rate work well. You can select it in File | Settings.

On Windows try the WDMKS audio system first, then WASAPI second.

Turn hardware monitoring off on the sound card and enable “Play back my audio” in jammr's sound settings.
