Does anyone have time to get this thing going?
Why not to try the same method as in public session, put offline a drum loop with the aid of a software, propose a genre, write down a chord progression here (same for all musicians) and to mix the results later? If the individual tracks are supposed to fit well there will be no beginning and no end until someone will make the intro and the fade out. By the way, the forum allows to upload as attachments only small files (1M) which is not enough for recordings, so a known address of a cloud drive will be necessary.

I like ukulele, recorder, guitar, drum, piano (absolute beginner)

Hi,
I had time to record a track today.

talertim: Would you like to be the first person in the chain? I have added my solo so you have a theme to start from.

I've put the tracks together!

The next person in the chain is: talertim

The chord progression is:
Am C F E

Tips:
1. The drums, bass, rhythm guitar, and intro guitar are “fair game”. Feel free to edit them however you like, including replacing them with your own stuff. Copy/paste drums, bass, and rhythm guitar if you need to extend the length of the track.
2. Don't edit the main tracks that other people have contributed (e.g. lead guitar).
3. Reflect a theme from the last person's contribution in your own contribution.
4. Max solo duration is 1 minute.

(Decided to share the links in public so we can watch this grow together!)

Hi Tim,

I'm away the next days without my guitar , so if would defer to someone. I heard the mix already and let me say you did a fantastic job so far, it sounds great! I think I'll join in at the end of next week.

Happy Easter!

I try to make a score before solo. At this stage I put only notes from chords. Looking for transitions…

musescore (music notation) but also play notes and export to sound files (some sound formats make noise with drums)
