Audio interface problem

Hi AV,
Does changing the audio system to “WASAPI” solve the issue?

Audio interface problem

stefanha

Hi

Direct monitoring on Focusrite is off
Playback my audio is on
Latency: Play a chord, hear sound after a while. Is its not 5ms it sounds a lot more.

I do that with ninjam through reaper, same setup, no delay on sound.

Thank you anyway

I managed to play with WASAPI by plugging my processor headphone output into line in, however I can't play if it's connected with USB interface in any mode

Stream started with sampleRate 48000 inputLatency 0.022 outputLatency 0.032

This shows that audio started with high latency values that will be perceptible to the human ear.

Are you able to change the latency setting in the 5-12 millisecond range with the Windows WDM-KS sound system?

Did audio output work over USB?

If yes, then the problem could be that jammr records the first channel (or two channels for stereo) but the amp's USB audio interface has 4 input channels (2 of which jammr isn't recording). Maybe the input signal is on the other two channels?

I was unable to find the necessary details about the 4-channel USB audio inputs in the amp's manual:
https://blackstaramps.com/pdf/handbooks/id-core-handbook.pdf

Have you tried the Blackstar INSIDER software that lets you deep edit the amp? Maybe there is an audio routing option that you can use to ensure the audio signal is on the first two input channels.
