How do you record a session?

Hi ToneSlave,
jammr records jam sessions and makes them available from listening and download. This happens “in the cloud” so nothing gets saved on your computer unless you decide to download the jam. Here is how it works:

After two or more people jam together, the jammr servers send each user an email with links to listen or download the jam.
If you are alone then jammr will not record the jam.

Premium users (or during beta, all users) can even download individual tracks for remixing. Everyone can listen to or download the full mix.

Hi Wenz,
Usually the maximum time is around 45 minutes. It mostly depends on how long it takes the jammr server to upload the recorded jam to our cloud storage provider. This can depend on network traffic conditions.

Only jam sessions with 2 or more people are recorded.

If you are missing a recorded jam session, please let me know the date and approximate time of the jam. I can check the servers to see if there was a problem recording your jam.

I did happen to get an email but it was for a different session that happened after the one I think I'm not getting. I'm not sure if the length of the session affected the recording because it was about 40 - 50 min long and I believe this session occurred on May 30 possibly from 6 or 7 pm to 8 pm.

I forget the username. All I remember is the first three letters of the username was “the.” It's fine if the recording isn't retrievable anymore. and thank you for the support so far.

Okay. If it happens again, just let me know and maybe I can spot a pattern and fix it.

jammr currently does not integrate with recording software like REAPER or Audacity. You can use them standalone without jammr to record locally.
