Is the Amplion VST plugin loaded from inside jammr?

If you launched Amplion as a separate program jammr will not receive the audio output from Amplion. This can result in low volume levels and other users won't hear the processed audio from Amplion. You can load VST plugins from File | Settings | Effect Plugins.
